The Whispering Shelf - DIY Kit - Small

We have designed these wooden wall shelves with an ornate gothic silhouette with fretwork on the sides and an aged gold and black look. The shelf has a hanging sign reminiscent of old bookshops with various quotes. Choose from one of our quotes or customise to have your own. Style it as a candle ledge, a place for a book nook, to showcase a curio, dried flowers, tiny trinkets, fairy lights or however you want it to decorate your wall. Customise the plaque text to make it yours: a favourite line, a quiet reminder, or something meaningful to you.

DIY Kit

Would you like to use your own creativity to paint, decorate and assemble the shelf yourself? If so choose our DIY kit option along with your choice of sign. The kit comes unpainted flat-packed with your choice of shelf, sign, set of screws and plugs to wall mount, jump rings and chain. The sign text is burned into the plaque. See our YouTube Channel video for assembly instructions. You will need wood glue or other similar strong glue (not included).

For customised sign the maximum number of characters (not words) for the small shelf is 48 and for the large is 58.
